Hey brilliant news it must be the power of the vegetable haemotology theory.

Nearly drove off the A14 this morning when radio 4 started talking about "Scottish beaver trials". Of course, they were only talking about releasing formerly extinct rodents into areas of the highlands.

Nearly as good as yesterday when we drove round a bend in a village and nearly hit a car on the wrong side of the road, and the shout of "warthog" came from the booster seat. He meant "roadhog", but he's only 4&1/2.

Have a great weekend - enjoy catching up with the garden!

Phil

PS Gallant looks like a lonely scarecrow today - outstanding in its field.

Fantastic news. So glad you are going home this weekend. May your recovery continue as you recoperate in your own bed. Does this mean the blogging is done? I'm just getting use to this daily diatribe.

A farmer in the country has a watermelon patch and upon inspection he discovers that some of the local kids have been helping themselves to a feast. The farmer thinks of ways to discourage this profit-eating situation. So he puts up a sign that reads: "WARNING! ONE OF THESE WATERMELONS CONTAINS CYANIDE!"He smiled smugly as he watched the kids run off the next night without eating any of his melons. The farmer returns to the watermelon patch a week later to discover that none of the watermelons have been eaten, but finds another sign that reads: "NOW THERE ARE TWO!"

Fantastic news Charles. Welcome back to Brookfield Road. We're down in London tomorrow but hope we can catch up with you on Sunday for a Pimms in the garden if you/we are allowed?

Enjoy sleeping in your own bed - that's if Jeanette allows you to get any sleep....

Love Helen & Ron xx

First job when you get home - sort the pedals out, get a nice gel saddle bought and admire the beauty of the frame - can't remember the name for a twin top tube but it's lovely
I now have to go and get a job as for the last couple of weeks I have mainly been reading your blog.
Sounds like your neutrobils are like my pension fund - may go up as well as down!
